Acupuncture

En Español | Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a practice based in the concept that a vital force or energy runs throughout our bodies, and when this energy doesn’t flow in a harmonious manner, disease or illness may appear.

In order to have a balanced flow of the vital energy, the two opposite forces that conform the energy, Ying and Yang need to be balanced. To achieve the balance and correct flow of the vital energy, TCM adopts different modalities, being the most popular Acupuncture, Qi Gong, Chinese Herbalism, and Tai Chi, as well as Tui Na massage, and Fire Cupping.

Acupuncture is a form of energy medicine, and a modality of TCM. Consists in the manipulation of the energy flow throughout the body by the use of thin needles placed in specific locations or meridians which connect to a corresponding organ in the body, improving so the flow of energy.
